Robert Gordon is an anthropologist who has been exploring the ethics of emerging technology and future society for over a decade. For the past six years he has been producing social commentary on his website Future Conscience, that exists primarily to ask the question: what do we want to be? During the day he works as the Manager of St Paul's Institute, a department of St Paul's Cathedral (UK) that exists to engage the public discourse on questions of morality and purpose; relating finance, business and the economy to the wider context of human flourishing and the meaning of the common good. He recently self-published his debut novel When Winter Calls, a science fiction thriller. He can also be found on Twitter (@futurecon). Robert first visited us in Episode 224 - Conscientious Futures (published 11/19/2015).
